Create the prettiest Bridal Shower Buffet Display

As a follow up to yesterday’s Bridal Shower Brunch, I wanted to share a closer look at the beautiful breakfast buffet I created to accompany it. {See the full tablescape and all the beautiful details in this post.} Delicate and darling, and healthy to boot, plus some of the sweetest bridal decorations… the bride-to-be will definitely be thrilled!

On the Menu:

Mini Pancake Stacks. If you have the time to cook , prepare these with classic pancake mix and stack in piles of 3-4 pancakes depending on thickness. Display on a tray. The finishing touch… these adorable Party Picks which not only look amazing but also hold the stack in place. Serve with with a fancy cake server. {Running short on cooking time? Trader Joes sells frozen mini pancakes which taste delish!}

Next up… Strawberry Chia Pudding Cups. Healthy and such a pretty colors! Serve in small juice glasses or even martinis glasses. Most importantly remember to garnish with coconut chips and fresh berries!

Strawberry Chia Pudding Cups Recipe:

Ingredients {fills 6-8 small juice glasses}:

  • 6 large strawberries
  • 1/2 can (6.5 ounces) of coconut milk
  • 1/2 can of water (use the same coconut milk can)
  • pinch of salt
  • 1-2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup chia seeds
  • fresh chopped strawberries and coconut chips for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a blender, combine strawberries, coconut milk, water, honey and vanilla on high until smooth
  2. Pour mixture on top of chia seeds in a medium sized bowl
  3. Whisk thoroughly.
  4. Let stand for 10 minutes on counter, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours to let pudding firm up
  5. Whisk again upon serving, adding a little extra liquid if needed
  6. Top with garnishes and enjoy!

{*Note: they require 4 hours refrigeration before serving!!}

Pretty Sips! A party wouldn’t be a proper celebration without champagne and I love Rosé for Bridal Showers. I recommend pre-pouring a bottle into champagne flutes for guests to take as they enter the party. Then I like to have an extra bottle in an ice bucket at the buffet for guests to help themselves to seconds! Don’t forget to have pretty cocktail napkins alongside the display in case of any spills!

Don’t forget dessert!! Mini Cupcakes topped with Party Picks are the perfect dainty dessert for the bride! I placed my cupcakes on a beautiful glass cake stand in the center of my dining table, working as extra decor to accompany my rose centerpieces. {Party tip: Any time I am low on centerpiece flowers I add cake stands with treats to center of my table to add height and dimension!}

Lastly… pretty greeting cards are another way to make the table full of life and sweet messages! Make sure the cards compliment the table in color! The Papyrus Topper Wedding Card matches my theme perfectly!

And don’t forget your treat bags!! The mini Papyrus Treat Bags could not be more darling… fill with jordan almonds for guests to take home a bit of sweetness from the day!
