Welcome to Fashionable Hostess

Want to host the most gorgeous and memorable dinner parties?

Want your home to look stylish and elegant, even if there are little ones running around!

You can have it all and the Fashionable Hostess is here to help!

Meet Amanda S. Gluck, creator of Fashionable Hostess.

Decor lover, Dinner Party Hostess, and Mom of three, this fashionable entertaining entrepreneur has been styling cheese platters since she was first old enough to reach her dining room table.

A little background…

Amanda was born and raised in Miami, Florida. After graduating from Brown University, Amanda moved to NYC where she worked in Fashion and PR for eight years. Her resume includes design for Macy’s Merchandising Group, working the fashion closet at Harpers Bazaar, planning special events for Sundance Film Festival and New York Fashion Week, and working as the PR & Events Manager for Alice & Trixie.

In 2008 Amanda was set up on a blind date and three years later she became engaged. During her wedding registry process Amanda was overwhelmed to say the least, and began blogging about her experience, her registry finds, and more importantly, how she began throwing parties as the gifts arrived. After her wedding in 2012, she expanded her blog, sharing her decor process as she and her husband moved to a new apartment and she took the role as self-proclaimed interior designer {this apartment was featured on Apartment Therapy and truly kick started the blog’s popularity}. From then on her blog began to expand as she shared more of her own life adventures, pregnancy, baby nurseries, moves, more dinner parties, endless cocktails, and more.

In 2014 Amanda became a contributing editor for StyleMePretty.com and TheNest.com. Since then her extensive press list includes features on Martha Stewart, Elle Decor, Style Me Pretty, Glitter Guide, Bridal Guide, and Domino. Amanda has moved from New York City to Nashville to Miami and all of her homes have been featured on Style Me Pretty Home Tours on numerous occasions. {For a full list of press and links to these posts, head to the Press Page}.

So what’s the message…

Amanda is not an interior designer and she is not an event planner, she is simply a girl who loves to have people around her dining table. She is a lover of all pretty things {especially lush floral arrangements} and is obsessed with combos of white and gold. She hopes that in sharing her own dinner parties, holiday decorating, cheese boards, and kid’s clothing, that she will inspire others to live their best and prettiest life, to take pride in their home, and to love having people over.

Amanda currently lives back home Miami {the #MIAChateauFH} with her husband and three children. She continues to grow her lifestyle blog while also hosting private events for brands.

Amanda is the sole contributor to this site.

Amanda works with several photographers to produce the gorgeous photos for this site, please inquire for further details.
