The FH Garden Tea Party Blogger Event

I am so excited to share a recap of my latest event, the #FHGardenTeaParty, a luncheon I hosted at my home for a group of Miami Influencers and Bloggers, just this past week. Itching to host something with a pretty Spring vibe, I created a beautiful lunch gathering with an array of refreshing iced teas, bright and delicate flower arrangements, and a menu of healthy foods and light and cocktails. I love hosting in my home, and with such gorgeous weather in Miami right now, I wanted to take advantage of the nice temperature and host the party right on my patio.

I was so excited that the Tea Company Harney & Sons partnered with me to bring the Tea Party portion to life. From their delicious iced tea selections for Spring time lunches, to the endless selection of warm teas for serving alongside desserts, I knew the girls would be thrilled to test an array of flavors! Plus, the Tea is packaged in such gorgeous tins, which made for the prettiest decorative pieces to sprinkle throughout my display areas! I am excited to share a look at this fun afternoon!

I used my outdoor dining table {the Frontgate Emerson Dining Table} to display the beautiful and colorful lunch buffet. Keeping with a healthy menu, I served a Mediterranean spread of greek salad, falafels, whole wheat pita and hummus, olives, tabouli, cous cous, and tomatoes with mozzarella and basil. On each end of the table I placed a large drink dispenser with Harney & Sons Iced Teas. On one end the Passionfruit {which is my new favorite flavor!} and on the opposite end, an Organic Iced Green Tea with Citrus & Ginko. {If you are an Iced tea lover, you should also test their Blueberry Green and Blood Orange; they are so good!}

I knew the covered area of my patio would be the perfect place to congregate for some tea sampling post-lunch, so to freshen up the space I added an assortment of new bright pillows {also from Frontgate!}. On my coffee tables I placed small and delicate flower arrangements that I made from an array of bright and beautiful flowers, alongside brightly colored Harney & Sons tea tins and Lenox Floral Tea Pots {in the Butterfly Meadow Pattern}.

For more details on my Patio furniture see this FH post.

At 11:30 bloggers began to arrive and after a bit of mingling they helped themselves to the buffet and took their plates over to my bistro tables near the pool.

Under the patio I also created a little cocktail station. You guys know my love for Spindrift, a Sparkling Water made with real squeezed fruit, so I thought these tasty and healthy drinks would be the perfect mixer for my cocktails! I made two drinks, a Sparkling Lemon Drop and a Orange Mango Mimosa {I will be sharing the recipes in tomorrow’s post!}. With a lot of beautiful selection of fruit garnishes, the options were ultra refreshing and perfect for lunch!

After lunch we made 4 different Harney & Sons Hot Teas so the girls could taste test, smell, and choose their favorite to enjoy alongside our desserts {macarons from Laduree and mini cupcakes from Spots NYC}. Crowd pleasers were the Black Currant {which has “big” fruity, berry flavor}, Cherry Blossom {a blend of green teas and the vibrant flavor of plump, fragrant cherries}, and the Chamomile {Harney & Sons sources only the finest chamomile flowers, of which they use only flower heads, from Egypt. The tea bag is beyond pretty as a result!}.

Oh, and if you are noticing everyone’s floral outfits, I told everyone to dress floral chic… I love to give guests a specific dress code so the pictures look fabulously chic!

Thank you to all of the amazing Brands that helped me bring this event to life and thank you to the beautiful and talented women that attended!
