    It’s time for my Summer Home Tour and I am very excited to share all of the changes I have made. Overall when I think of summertime, I envision bright and light spaces filled with pops of color; I want to be transported into vacation mode. With that in mind I transitioned some of my favorite rooms from very neutral to more color-oriented, primarily focusing in the blue family. The end result is everything I hoped!!

    A few highlights include my family room {the more dramatic change is that I closed in a wall making the room more symmetrical and the seasonal change was that I added so many fun nautical pillows and accessories}, then the outdoor spaces {this was the biggest transformation of all where I went from elegant (before) to tropical (after)}, and lastly, I changed out our master bedroom bedding which made the room so bright and fresh!! Overall I am loving the colors and texture in these spaces and I am excited to share the highlights as well as endless links to shop the spaces today!

    Summer time calls for a bright and refreshing bar cart and since I am pregnant I stuck to lemonade with fresh lemons! I love greeting guests with a fab display when they enter our family room, and this does just the trick. Then heading into our family room, I have to tell you I am so excited that I finally closed in that awkward corner… the room feels so much more symmetrical now!! {See the before in this post where I had two gold shelves in the corner.} I added matching gold side tables {Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams} with matching lamps on either side of the main sofa which is both functional and beautiful, and then for accessories, I partnered with Pottery Barn to add pops of blue with patterned couch pillows. The room feels much less formal which I love for this time of year!

    Bedroom: Bed: My Chic Nest | Light fixture: Serena & Lily | Bedding: Yves Delorme Alliance Bedding | Flat Sheet in Marine {linked here}, the Alliance Euro Shams, and the Alliance Decorative Pillow {in navy}. I am in LOVE with the new bedding in our bedroom! The Alliance design by Yves Delorme with the blue embroidered details is so luxe; I feel like I’m at a French Resort. Also, I updated all of the little trinkets on my gold etagere to pastels {shop them above!}.

    Dining Table & Chairs: Emerson Dining Table | Natural hyacinth round placemats | gold flatware |  acrylic water and wine glasses {similar and similar} | bright floral napkins {similar and similar}

    Then heading back outside I created a whimsical garden tablescape for my summer time guests using potted plants as my centerpiece! {And if you are swooning for this floral “naked” cake, head to this post for a super easy step-by-step tutorial on how to make the cake at home!}.

    Last but not least I finally furnished the outdoor space around our pool {in partnership with Frontgate!!}. I love the comfy couch area for watching swimmers, while the Café Round Folding Table and Chairs with the blue and white striped umbrellas above them were my husband’s dream for eating lunch outside with friends. Of course the pool towels match perfectly! And that concludes the tour!! Hoping everyone has a beautiful summer!

  2. Bedroom Refresh for Summer with Yves Delorme Bedding

    There’s nothing better than refreshing your bedroom and with baby number three arriving in September, I am definitely embracing this tranquil space while I can! I have slowly been bringing in hues of rich blues and indigo into other rooms of my home {see my living room here and patio here}, so I was thrilled to partner with Yves Delorme featuring their stunning Alliance Style Bedding for my bedroom. Yves Delorme is one of the oldest and most prestigious French linen companies for Bastille Day, the quality is top notch, and the detailing on the linens is so elegant {I feel like I’m on a…

  3. Living Room Updates for Spring with Pottery Barn

    I was so flattered when the Hey Mama Co team asked me to co-host the opening of Pottery Barn’s newest Miami store, the South Beach location! But when Pottery Barn then gave me full reign to choose some of my favorite pieces from their new store so I could give my home a Spring refresh, I was beyond jumping for joy! So today I wanted to give you a mini tour of my living room updates!! You guys know how I was obsessed with adding hues of blue to my patio {in case you missed the recap it’s here}, so I quickly jumped right on the…

  4. Miami Patio Tour with Spring Makeover

    When people ask me what my favorite room in my house is… I always answer, “Can I say my patio?!” You see, living in Miami, your patio becomes like a second living room. We are always hanging outside eating lunch, watching the kids swim, enjoying an evening cocktail… so it’s always been important to me that our space outside reflect my style as much so as the inside. When we first moved into our house I was lucky enough to partner with Frontgate to furnish this outdoor space. From outdoor rugs, to outdoor dining and living sets {that are beautiful…

  5. Miami Kitchen Tour

    Welcome to our new kitchen! I feel like I have shared bits and pieces on my social media, but I am excited to share the full reveal today with a run down of all the changes I made to create the finished look! I have to say that I am in love with this space! The main island is massive, making it great for dining at the bar {which we do every night!} or cooking up a storm from guests. The breakfast nook is where we enjoy our mornings with the kiddos {and I confess to even putting a TV…
