Miami Holiday Home Tour 2017

Foyer: Tree: Frontgate Flocked Norway Tree | Ornaments: Frontgate French Blue & Linen Ornaments and Frontage Mixed Metal Ornaments | Celadon Sheer Dupioni Glitter Ribbon | Frontgate Bijoux Blue Tree Skirt | Garland on stairwell: Seraphina Pre-Lit Garland

Welcome to my 2018 Holiday Home Tour. The #MiaChateauFH is truly sparkling this Holiday Season with beautiful lights and ornaments sprinkled throughout the house. I am in love with the soft hues and accents that fill each room and am so excited to share it with you all today!

Starting with my favorite part… our entry, which houses our absolutely stunning tree from Frontgate! After seeing Frontage’s website earlier this Fall featuring their blue and white ornament collection, I knew I wanted to create my own variation for our home {especially since we celebrate Hanukkah, so the blue seemed very appropriate!}. I chose the Frontgate Flocked Norway Tree which was the perfect size for our large entry, plus comes pre-lit {a must for a busy mamma!}, and has 12 settings of lights, from white lights, to multi-colored, to blinking; it’s incredible and the kids love it. We got busy decorating with Frontage’s French Blue & Linen Ornaments and Frontage Mixed Metal Ornaments and let me tell you these are the most beautiful ornaments I have ever seen! With hand-applied paint, glitter and crystal accents, and a mix of sphere, teardrop and finial shapes, the tree looked beyond elegant from the minute I started hanging. The icing on the cake was the Glitter Ribbon tying the whole look together.

Family Room: Trees: Frontgate 5′ Flocked Norway Spruce Trees | Pillows: Caitlin Wilson Grande Plaid Pillow and Caitlin Wilson Eventide Velvet Pillow | Simon Pearce Bubble Glass Trees | Large Photograph: Stefanie Vovas | Mirror: Frontgate | Light Fixture: Urban Electric | Sofa & Chairs: Custom | Table Lamps: Sterling Industries Leila Lamp | Coffee Tables: Oroa

In my family room, I placed Frontgate 5′ Flocked Norway Spruce Trees that come in an urn and are also pre-lit, on both ends of my couch. Since we don’t have a huge space on either side of the room to work with and I didn’t want to block the TV on the opposite side, I thought two small trees would fit perfectly in the space. Funny enough, these trees are actually sold for outdoor use but the size was just right and I must say the soft yellow lights compliment the gold in the room so nicely. I also updated the pillows on my couch with beautiful prints from Caitlin Wilson, the Caitlin Wilson Grande Plaid Pillow and Caitlin Wilson Eventide Velvet Pillow. I really wanted to keep this space elegant so I kept with festive pieces in muted colors; on my coffee table I added a few Holiday accents like white glass nutcrackers, Simon Pearce Bubble Glass Trees, and a classic silver menorah {similar}.

Dining Room: Hurricanes: Frontage’s Crystal Hurricanes | Plates: Lenox Pleated Colors Collection | Flatware: Lenox French Perle Flatware | Coupe Glasses: Olivia & Oliver Madison Gold Cocktail Glasses | Wine Glasses: Olivia & Oliver Madison Gold White Wine Glasses | Table: J Alexander LA | Chairs: custom in Miami {New Design Furniture} | Buffet: J Alexander LA| Mirror: Checquers Aspen | Light Fixture: Circa Lighting | Sconces: Circa Lighting

For my dining room I really embraced gold tones. I am in love with Frontage’s Crystal Hurricanes that I placed down the center of my dining table. Beautifully handcrafted heirloom-worthy pieces, the detailing on the bottom is a mix of metal leaves and crystal flowers that truly glow when a candle is lit. Then to match back with the glittery gold I chose sparkly crystal dome napkin rings by Kim Seybert and beautiful two tone classic linen napkins {Kim Seybert herringbone napkins}.

Playroom: Activity Table: Pottery Barn Kids Carolina Large Play Table | Play Kitchen: Kid Kraft Vintage Kitchen | Cupcake Menorah | Sports Menorah |  Hanukkah Coloring Placemats | Hanukkah Books

As I shared earlier, we celebrate Hanukkah, so I wanted to create a sweet Hanukkah display for the kids in our playroom. In doing so, I swapped out many of the toys on their bookshelf and placed their new menorahs {here is Reese’s cupcake menorah and here is Brooks’s sports menorah}, Hannukah books, wooden Dreidels, and bags of gelt. In my next post I will be sharing a closer look at this space with lots of links as well as fun tips for hosting a fun kid-friendly Hanukkah night! Stay tuned.

Bedroom: Bed: My Chic Nest | Light fixture: Serena & Lily | Bedding: Boll & Branch | Simon Pearce Bubble Glass Trees | Bedside Tables: Bungalow5 | Bedside Table Lamps: Z Gallerie | Lamps near window: Restoration Hardware | Blue Suede Chairs: OROA Miami

Last but not least, I like to change our bedding every season, so for this Winter I updated our sheets and blankets to a mix of grey and whites from Boll and Branch. Sourced the worldโ€™s finest organic cotton, their sheets are amazingly soft and cozy for winter {remember I featured their Flannel last winter in our Guest Room!}. I mixed and matched grey sheets and shams with their Banded Collection {shop what I chose here}; my favorite addition for chilly nights is the Grey Waffle Blanket which I layered between the sheets and duvet. For those of you who live in colder climates I highly recommend you check out their Flannel Sheet collection; I just got them for our NYC apartment!

I hope you enjoyed the tour! Be sure to see more Holiday Decor all around my home on instagram with Hashtag #FHHolidays!
