I was so excited to be featured in Martha Stewart Weddings this weekend where I shared eight tips to creating a beautiful bridal shower dessert bar. From the flowers, to the menu, to the personalized décor, I shared my go-to Esty shops for customized straws to the cutest celebratory cake toppers {see the post here}. Today I wanted to share more photos from the shoot with a closer look at the dessert table {ie. some never before seen footage!}… here are the details.
I started by accessorizing my table, stacking a pile of pastel coffee table books, sprinkling in candles, and placing geometric jars that I had at my house. Even if your shower is at a restaurant, pack yourself a bag of pretty props to add that little something to the display. Anything that says “love” is a given, or even a pretty framed photo of the couple is too cute! Next I went with all mini bottles for my drinks. Pamplonne Rosé cans on one end, and Chandon Rosé mini bottles on the other end. I made sure to have an array of straws for guests to pop in the bottles. Then over the top flowers is what sets any dessert table apart and this display doesn’t disappoint. All in the white and pink family, I did everything from a tall vase of white hydrangea to bowls of white roses. How cute is the hooray cake topper that I stuck in an arrangement? Who said you have to use them on cakes? My favorite touch was an assortment of small H&M vases, each filled with a single rose or ranunculus, to serve as the perfect take-home party favor for each guest.
To end the party I took my gold-rimmed coupe glasses and created a champagne tower for everyone to cheers the bride one last time! Hope you enjoyed this closer look, and see the rest of my tips here!
