1. The Sweetest Easter Kids Table

Is this not just the cutest Easter display you ever did see? I am actually in LOVE right now. When it comes to Easter it is all about the little ones afterall, so why not make them feel extra special with a little tablescape dedicated to them? I found the perfect “non-breakable” centerpiece… a big white basket filled with faux flowers {from Michaels, but I linked up more options to shop online below!}.

Then at my play table I of course made everyone a little basket of treats… my favorite take-home being a jar of candies with a customized lid thats says “Fashionable Hostess Easter Party” from Swoozies. At each child’s seat I also set out a stack of mini pancakes topped off with a pom pom tooth pick!

How sweet is this Pottery Barn Kids play table?! I actually just bought it because we really needed an upgrade from our last activity table. Not only was it incredibly dirty / stained with paints and markers, but Reese had really outgrown the chairs. Now at 4 she needed a big girl chair, so this table is perfect with more space for drawing and art projects and higher chairs for more comfortable seating. {The Carolina Large table is 45″ long x 30″ deep x 22″ high, the Spindle Chairs are 14″ wide x 13.5″ deep x 26″ high.} And FYI, this table is also great for my 2.5 year old… so it works for the whole family!

Tomorrow I will share some fabulous ideas for your kids Easter egg baskets! Then, notice the adorable shelving in the background? I will also be sharing a closer look at how I decorated the room… hint hint… it involved faux flower garlands!!

  2. Floral “Four” DIY

So many of you asked about this “Floral Four” that we created for Reese’s Birthday Party that I had to finally share this DIY on the Blog! It really is such a cute centerpiece for any party and was the perfect backdrop to our food buffet. So get out your scissors because this is a fun one!! What you will need: A styrofoam cut-out of the number you want to feature. I bought a huge piece of styrofoam at Joann Fabric and a large card stock number 4, traced the 4 on to the styrofoam, and cut out with an exacto…

  3. Reese’s 4th Princess Party

For Reese’s fourth birthday I wanted to throw a beautiful princess party in our backyard. I set the stage by hanging lanterns by Under the Paper Lantern in the trees, creating a princess face painting station, and setting up the most gorgeous dessert buffet. The paperless post invitation asked all the little girls to dress as princesses, and it couldn’t have been cuter! I am so excited to share how I brought this party to life {and all the fun party details!} As guests entered the party they were greeted by a “Princess Prepping Station”. Princess Belle stood in front of a table…

  4. Dessert Table for Baby’s 1st Birthday

Recently a girlfriend of mine came to me and asked for helping planning her son’s first birthday party. I have always admired the long dessert buffet tables I have seen on Pinterest, so when I brought up the concept to her, she couldn’t wait to get started on the idea. We decided the easiest way to go about planning would be to find a package of party supplies rather than a few things here and there. We fell in love with this adorable “Let’s get this Party Started” set on Minted {the beloved stationary website!} which had everything from banners, centerpieces, table signs and more. Then…

  5. Baby’s 1st Birthday Party

As you saw in my Instagram as well as my Birthday Party Prep Post, last week was Reese’s much anticipated First Birthday Party. I am so excited to finally share all of the details from the special day – from the agenda, to the decor, to what I served. It doesn’t get much cuter than this. The birthday was from 12:30 – 3:00 on a Sunday afternoon {long by most first birthday party standards, but I knew people would be floating in and out}. The agenda was an interactive Musical Performance with one-man-show “Brett Band” followed by play time with…
