1. 7 Month Baby: Baby Denim

    FHB Style: Baby Denim

Remember how I raved about Baby Zara in my FHB Style: Red Floral Post? Well, I am continuing to rave, because their denim jeggings are to die for. Aside from looking beyond cute, I love how the FHB’s mobility is unaffected by this big fashion statement. {Now that she is attempting to crawl, I hate when she wears long dresses or tight jeans making it harder for her to move around!}. Zara has regular denim options for babies, but the jeggings are soft as can be {both in the leg and in the waist band}. I love that I could even cuff them to show off her uber chic Stuart Weitzman Baby ballet flats. For her top, the FHB is wearing a sweet summer tunic  by Egg Baby that we got when visiting my cousin in California. And of course, the FHB wouldn’t be caught dead without a perfect headband bow to finish off the look. We are still working on “growing” some hair so we can move onto her Bow clips {See her full collection that awaits her here}.

  2. Add a pop of Pink

Remember the pretty pink carnations from Monday’s Set the Table: Au Revoir Summer Post? Well, post-entertaining, I moved these bright pink beauties over to my coffee table. Turns out they were the perfect pop of color alongside my Dayna Decker candle, Jonathan Adler match striker, and Fishs Eddy Tray. And on the topic of “Au Revoir”…. I finally got a new couch! Stay tuned for before and after shots coming next week! Shop the Look:

  3. Organize your First Aid

When it comes to First Aid, the FH family could easily open up its very own pharmacy. From the copious amounts of Tums and Zantac I took for stomach ulcers, to the smelly ace bandages my husband uses post-basketball practice, to the four anti-itch lotions I bought for ONE mosquito bite, to every form of pain killer – because clearly to only own the options of Advil and Tylenol would never suffice, I can openly call myself the equivalent of a medicine cabinet hoarder.  The most ridiculous part is that although we own everything you could dream of, every time…

  4. Black Bean Coucous

Don’t you love it when your husband calls you at 3 pm to let you know that he and 2 friends would rather come over for a home-cooked meal than go out to a restaurant?! It’s in moments like these where I am thankful that I keep a chicken breast in my freezer and a stocked pantry of couscous, beans, nuts, and spices for last minute emergencies. For dinner I can quickly whip up a Pistachio & Dijon Crusted Chicken {find the recipe here} from my frozen chicken and nuts. Then for my side dish, I found that by mixing a…

  5. Hydrating Solutions

With the amount of sun exposure I have gotten this summer, my skin is practically screaming for moisture the second I pop out of the shower. Here are a couple of lotions that I am LOVING right now for AM and PM use: 1. AM Body Lotion: Eucerin Daily Protection Moisturizing Body Lotion. When I get out of the shower in the AM, my routine is always to lube up with my body moisturizer, but in the summer I like to have SPF on as well. I tried skipping my moisturizer and just opting for the sunscreen {because 2 layers is…
