The Ultimate Red, White, & Blue Celebration

Fourth of July wouldn’t feel Patriotic without stars, stripes, and endless red, white, and blue. So this year I was sure to include everything on my checklist! I was so excited to partner with Pottery Barn for this project because they truly have the best selection for the Holiday, from galvanized pieces, to festive napkins, to American Flag pillows. I am obsessed with how my table is over-flowing with color! Here’s a closer look at what I created for the perfect FH Fourth of July poolside celebration!

I started by placing a Pottery Barn Burlap Flag Banner down the center of my table in lieu of a runner, and then placed a mix of large and small Glass Lanterns on top. I love these glass lanterns for outdoor entertaining, plus the rope handle detail is on point for summer!

Then at each place setting I placed Pottery Barn Galvanized Metal Chargers, white Melamine Dinner Plates, and Bistro Outdoor Flatware. I love that each plate appears hand-painted, but is completely unbreakable. My favorite detail though is the mix and matched napkins – Pottery Barn has an amazing selection for the Fourth!

On top of my dinner plates I alternated American Flag Star Napkins and PinStripe Fish Napkins. And then to add to the presentation, I stacked a two-tiered galvanized tray with more red, white, and blue options – my favorite being the Pinstripe Lobster Napkins!

Complimentary colorful foods are a big part of my display. I took a Pottery Barn American Flag Galvanized Tray and placed it in the center of my table with a delicious and festive cheese board. Ingredients included salami, a variety of cheeses, a bowl of olives, a bowl of fresh strawberries tossed with mint, and water crackers.

Then over at one end of my table I used a two-tired Galvanized Tray to display a mix of red and blue fruits. On the top tier, strawberries, blueberries and raspberries, and on the bottom tier, sliced watermelon. I love having these rich in color {and equally rich in nutrient} fruits handy for guests to enjoy on a hot summer day!

The finishing touches were the patriotic pillows and decorative vases I placed around the table. The Flag Embroidered Pillow and this Flag Embroidered Lumbar Pillow are perfect for a head chair at the dining table or on a patio bench. Then I just love these over-sized Ikat Terra Cotta Vases; they are actually incredibly heavy and make a statement filled or empty!
