Draper James themed National Brunch Day Celebration

When Draper James asked how I planned to celebrate “National Brunch Day” I responded, “with a quick and easy Summer kick-off celebration for my closest girlfriends before we head off to summer vacation!” So today I wanted to share the get-together I threw at my mom’s home {at the sweetest vintage table!}. Also, be sure to head over to the Draper James “Love Reese” Blog to read an interview that accompanies my table, plus the delicious recipe I used for these coconut bundt cakes!

So what did I create for the occasion? I wanted something quaint, light, and pretty, so I started with the Draper James Paper Table Runner because it instantly takes a table from plain to styled, and best of all, no cleaning once you are done! Then for our brunch {well, more like a quick get-together because we are all moms and have places to go, kids to pick up, etc}, I served homemade lemonade in the cutest watermelon “Good Morning Sunshine” Tumblers, and then a light fare of fresh fruits, sliced watermelon, strawberries, cheeses, olives, water crackers, and bread sticks. Then I wanted each girl to treat themself, so I did a mini coconut bundt cake at each seat. We enjoyed our brunch on Draper James Appetizer Plates in colorful dog prints.

I thought it would be super cute to have a gift for each girl, so I picked out these “Gone Shopping” lightweight Canvas Totes from Draper James that they can use all summer long – from the beach to travel! Draper James has the cutest gifting ideas if you want to get your friends a little something as they head off for summer, one of my favorites being their Beach Ball Keychain {$35!} that I clipped on to my girlfriends’ totes, but I also love this Trinket Tray {$18!}.

It couldn’t have been a cuter and easier display to celebrate summer, friends, and brunching!! Thank you to Draper James for partnering on this… shop my favorite summer pieces below!
