1. Be my Bridesmaid

    champagne, macaron,s and Diptyque candles

Asking your bridesmaids to be a part of your wedding party is such a special moment. It’s a chance to show the people who have been most supportive in your life that you appreciate them and want them to stand alongside you on your big day. If you are lucky enough to live in the same city as this select bunch, I recommend hosting a memorable evening filled with champagne and sweets so you can ask “Will you be my bridesmaid?” face-to-face.

How do I recommend you pull it off without giving away the surprise prior to guests arriving? Call / text / or email each girl individually and say you are having a few people over for cocktails. Maybe makeup a movie on TV you want to watch, an announcement at work you wanted to share, or simply call it a girls night. Don’t mention EVERYONE who is coming… make it seem relaxed like “a few people will try and stop by.”

My favorite details to hosting this party are for your table of course. Champagne is a must and I LOVE the newest collection of Sofia canned champagnes {ie. sold as the Francis Ford Coppola Sofia Mini Blanc de Blancs 4-Pack}. They are pink cans that come with a straw and perfectly sized for each gal to have their own! Then for sweets, I love Macarons {I picked mine up from Laduree}; they look so elegant displayed on a pretty cake stand alongside pink and white cocktail napkins {or better yet, match the color of your napkin to your ‘wedding colors!’}. Once everyone has arrived, it is time for the big announcement. Cheers and relish in the happiness!!

  2. Wedding Week Beauty Prep

The week of your wedding is chaotic with last minute details – finalizing flowers, assembling hotel gift bags, maybe even final dress alterations! Between that, maintaining your gym routine, and welcoming in-laws, it may be tough to squeeze in any last minute spa appointments like that spray tan or facial you need. Because time is a precious commodity and you want to keep your sanity in check, I recommend buying these 8 Beauty Products for an at-home beautification week that will leave you glowing for the big day (not to mention be a great money saving alternative!). Now here is my…

  4. Exfoliating Your Lips

Wearing bold lip color is all the rage… but pulling off this dramatic look isn’t so cute if your lips are dry and scaly (damn you winter gusts!). So in order to prep your pout for their debut this Spring you are just 3 easy steps away.. You just need two key essentials: Fresh Sugar Lip Teatment +  . Here we go: Exfoliate your lips. Take the Lip Sugar and massage a pea size amount onto your lips. Rinse with luke warm water and pat dry. Apply Aquaphor to your lips so they are silky smooth, hydrated, and to fill in the…

  5. Four Step Beauty Regimen: Susan Ciminelli

Up until a few months ago I always preferred to mix and match multiple brands of skincare as a part of my daily morning and evening regimens. Some days I would wake up with dry skin so I would use my thick moisturizers before bed {like this one by Bobbi Brown}, while other days I would skip moisturizing due to a small breakout and use an acne clearing gel {like this one by Peter Thomas Roth}. Then when I went for a facial at Susan Ciminelli Spa the aesthetician recommended that my combination skin would be better with a specific regimen…
