Pretty Party Foods

Today I wanted to share a roundup of some of my prettiest party foods that I made or assembled at home for various posts or parties I have thrown! You know I am not the best in the kitchen, so I promise these recipes are not too difficult, yet look SO pretty that guests will be instagramming up a storm!

Starting with the images above, I styled this “Brunch Party” for my girlfriends. Our get together consisted of a workout class followed by a light brunch at my house, so I wanted something healthy! On the menu, Homemade Granola Cups {yes, you make the granola cups and they are so good!}, Strawberry Chia Pudding Cups, and Grapefruit Basil Mimosas! See the post here for the recipes.

It doesn’t have to be Summer to host a picnic this pretty. On the menu: pressed turkey and cheese paninis which I filled with fresh arugula before placing on a white luxe platter. Alongside the sandwiches, I served a watermelon, feta, and fresh mint salad, a cheese and grapes display, and a bowl of fresh cherries. For dessert I picked up an apple pie, but to make it my own, I decorated it with a few extra flowers from my arrangements and placed it on the sweetest mint cake stand. Then for drinks, I made lemon and grapefruit infused water with extra lemon for garnish and topped with fun pink straws. See the post here.

Nutella and waffles… a truly heavenly combination. Perfect for a brunch party or here I served it as the “cake” at brunch bridal shower! See the full post here!

Decadent cheese boards are my jam. I don’t think I have ever hosted a party without one! See this post where I made one with endless delicious mix in’s and beautiful table to match!

If you are looking to get crafty, here’s one for you! These Flower Pot Cupcakes are a hit for any garden party or kids event! The best part is that the “dirt” is actually crushed oreos… can you say YUM! Follow the recipe here.

This is the simplest idea yet looks so “dressed up”! Simply place your favorite cheese and crackers on a platter {here’s a cute one!} and place flowers all around and VOILA, a masterpiece! My only advice is don’t set this out too early because you don’t want your flowers to wilt!

Ok so here I clearly did NOT bake, but presentation is everything!! Total confession: these cute macarons are from the freezer section at Trader Joe’! I bought three boxes, opened them up, and placed them in pretty lines on this beautiful white platter! Check out the full champagne and macaron dessert buffet here.

This yummy goat cheese, apricot, and agave crostini idea is always a crowd pleaser! Vegetarian, light, and requires very little time to prepare! See the recipe step-by-step here!

If you guys have any go-to recipes, I would love for you to share! Happy Hosting!
