You all know my obsession with cheese by the endless cheese platters I have put together, so when I saw this recipe on Pinterest for a Goat Cheese Crostini appetizer I had to give it a try. I decided to add a special touch – Marinated Hot Peppers – that I picked up at the Bedford Cheese Shop; trust me that they give just the right kick. Cut it up into servable slices and you have a new spin on cheese that everyone will enjoy!
Ingredients:
- Crostini Bread or French Baguette
- Fresh Goat Cheese {I used Mont Chevre Fresh Goat Cheese with Garlic and Herbs}
- 1 Package Cherry Tomatoes halved
- 1 Package Hot Peppers halved
- Garlic Salt to taste
Directions:
- Slice your Baguette in half. Pop in the oven at 350 for ten minutes if you want it slightly toasted and crunchy.
- Spread Goat Cheese on both sides like your were schmeering a bagel!
- Sprinkle Cherry Tomatoes and Hot Peppers.
- Add Garlic Salt to taste.
- Cut into bite-sized pieces and serve the Goat Cheese Crostini!
