NYFW Outfit Recap Part I

IMG_1775

While I consider myself to be a lifestyle blogger, my background is all based in Fashion {see my full bio here}, so come New York Fashion Week I love getting dolled up for the shows and parties. This past week I had the privilege of being invited to SO many amazing ones – from Dannijo’s Jewelry Presentation, to Shop Buru’s Blogger Lunch, to Jay Godfrey’s Presentation, to Old Navy’s Joe Zee Launch Event, to Trina Turk’s Backstage Beauty and Hair Prep, to Mara Hoffman’s Runway Show, while this coming week I will be seeing Lela Rose’s Runway Show, Milly’s Backstage Beauty and Hair Prep, Tommy Hilfiger’s Presentation, partying with Lucky Magazine and Movado Watches, and more more more… make sure to catch ALL the fashion week details and fun pics on my Instagram and Twitter!

So as I was running from show to show, then back home to feed the baby and play with Reese, then a quick costume change and back to the shows, I had some fun snapping selfies in my bathroom mirror with each new ‘look’. I decided to Instagram them which is not in my usual form — in all seriousness my followers never like pics of me, but prefer ones of my apartment and dinner parties, but shockingly they got a reasonable number of likes!  So… I decided to be completely out of FH ‘professional camera’ norm today and share some very ‘amateur hour’ photos from my iPhone for this NYFW outfit recap. While I hate posting anything that isn’t gorgeously pristine, at least it’s a way to share my shopping list for Fall, as well as some styling ideas as to how to put it all together! If you are liking this Fashion Intermission, make sure to stay tuned on my social bc I am having a blast seeing all of the shows and sharing the trends!
