Prettiest Wine & Cheese Night

It goes without saying that anytime I host guests I always put out a pretty display of wine and cheese. So of course you can only imagine how excited I was when Julia Knight of Julia Knight Collection sent me a few pieces from their Marbled Rose collection. And the answer is, YES, VERY excited! Feminine and fashionable, it’s amazing how a pretty platter can take some everyday cheeses and grapes and make them look so dressed up. In fact, that’s Julia’s philosophy when she designs her pieces (which all have stunning details). Whether it is ordered in or cooked, placing food on her platters looks beautiful and makes a statement.

I decided a baked brie topped with Honey and edible flowers, and served alongside RosΓ© wine would compliment my display perfectly. From her collection I chose the Rose Marbled tray as my base and then two small bowls for nuts and olives. See the full collection here (she also has a classic white marbled version for those craving something a bit less feminine!).

As for wine, I will admit I totally bought this Yes Way RosΓ© for the bottle. At $12.99 and sold at Target, I thought it would simply be pretty for the shoot. Well, I have to say it tastes great (it’s made in the south of France in Provence so I should have assumed it would be!), so I highly recommend snagging a few for your bar cart or to serve at parties. Served in my Juliska Amalia glasses, the wine looks incredibly fancy, right?!

Hope these few new additions to your next wine and cheese night make it that much more fancy! Cheers!
