Summer Sips: Moscow Mule

Moscow Mule Season!

Do you have a go-to cocktail in your house… one that you make anytime you have guests over in the summertime? My go-to’s are hands down Aperol Spritz and Moscow Mules in these steamy months. Both are so refreshing and and incredibly tasty. One thing my husband always jokes when it comes to Mules, is that a Moscow Mule doesn’t taste nearly as good if it isn’t served in the classic copper mug, and I have to agree!! So as the perfect hostess, I highly recommend purchasing a few sets of these mugs so you are prepared with the full set up. Shop sets of two from Macys for $20 here or a set of eight for $40 on Amazon here. Need the recipe? See below… and note I prefer Titos Vodka and Fever Tree Ginger Beer when it comes to my mules!!

Moscow Mule (makes 1 cocktail):

Start by filling your copper mug to the brim with ice (crushed ice would be amazing!!), then add the following…

  • 2 ounces Tito’s vodka {a shot and a half}
  • Half of a 6.8 oz bottle of Fever Tree Ginger Beer {this is the 4-pack I buy}
  • Squeeze half a lime or 1 shot of lime juice
  • Garnish with 1 mint stalk and a lime slice

Stir and sip!!
