From the most over-the-top milkshakes I have ever seen, to the cutest taste-tester, Katie has me running to the nearest ice cream parlor in jealousy! Katie writes: 

After a long hot summer of pool parties, backyard fun, and play dates around the neighborhood, I thought we’d celebrate the end of the sunny season by inviting our neighbors over for a milkshake social. Elaborate milkshakes piled high with sweet treats took center stage while a DIY milkshake bar encouraged guests to create their own masterpieces. {How cute is this for a little one’s birthday party!!}

Katie continues:

The inspiration for today’s shoot came from a restaurant in New York that serves insane milkshakes overflowing with ice cream, whipped cream, and candy. I was totally inspired to throw a party where elaborate milkshakes take centerstage as an inspiration for guests to create their own.

Katie’s Milkshake Flavors:

• S’mores: Vanilla marshmallow milkshake topped with chocolate, graham cracker crumbs, chocolate syrup, and toasted marshmallows
• Strawberry Sweet Tooth: Strawberry milkshake topped with whipped cream, strawberry wafers, fresh strawberries, white chocolate syrup, sprinkles, cupcakes and macarons
• Chocolate Chip Cookies: Chocolate chip milkshake topped with whipped cream, cookie dough, chocolate chip cookies, and mini chocolate chips
• Peanut Butter Nutella Pretzel: Chocolate milkshake topped with peanut butter, pretzels, peanut butter cookies, peanut butter cups, drizzled with warm Nutella
