Fall fashion is all about rich golds, so what better way to transition into the season than to create a table that is just that. I absolutely love how these gold Chilewich placemats set the tone and give a retro-feel to this fall mod gold table setting. To keep the look cool not tacky, it was important to keep the number of colors to a minimum {ie. stick with primarily gold and neutrals}. I paired back to simple white dinner plates and napkins and used my L’Objet Gold Triple Napkin Rings. As for my ‘flowers’, how great are these rectangular vases filled with wheatgrass? Minimal and sleek, not to mention, idiot-proof when it comes to arranging.
Since the wheatgrass centerpiece arrangements were so low, I wanted to bring in one more element to be the focal point when guests arrived. I decided on my Lapinu Tribal Necklace from Dakorum.com and placed it at the head of the table on the back end so it would catch everyone’s eye but wouldn’t obstruct eye contact across the table when eating. Lastly, I added two more details worth noting that I love for Fall. 1. Cute bread plates with mini butter knives at each place setting which are perfect for hot dinner rolls. And, 2. DIY menu cards which I printed at home on card stock so guests felt like dinner was a real treat! Loving these bold hues? Stay tuned for Friday’s post where I share the perfect wine compliment for your Fall meal!
