This Holiday season I have been crazed to say the least, as I am sure many of you have been as well. Decorating the house, trimming the tree, shopping for gifts, hosting parties, festive activities with the kids, the list goes on. Thankfully, I found the comfiest booties to run all my Holiday errands in from Easy Spirit, so I wanted to share a closer look today! Because the last thing we need is something slowing us down! First topic: the shoes! I used to spend my busy days in sneakers because they were the only shoes I found to be truly comfortable, but then I would look like a hot mess if I ran into people, or worse, would have to run home to change before heading to dinner or events. The Dark Tan Nubuck goes perfectly with my cozy cashmere sweaters and jeans for day time decorating, to a show at school, to a bite to eat at a local restaurant.

Next up: my tips! One of my favorite decorating tips is to fill glass hurricanes with gold and glittery ornaments as accents throughout your home. I place my hurricanes on my my bookshelves, on my coffee tables and even on my food buffets. To really make them sparkle, I intertwine battery powered twinkling lights around the ornaments to make the whole glass container glow! Next tip, match your gift wrap to your tree to make for an even prettier presentation! This year I went with a blue and white story so I chose beautiful white or blue boxes with ribbon to compliment. My tree looks the prettiest it’s ever looked!! And my last tip is to take time to enjoy the Holidays!! Turn off your phone, make hot chocolate, and play board games or sing songs with your kids around your tree. It’s meant to be the most wonderful time of the year, so make it that way for the whole family!!
