I love to place lots of pretty accent pieces on my coffee table, but I can’t tell you how many times I have come home to find my husband sprawled out on the couch, feet up on the coffee table, and all of my gorgeous books, candles, and vases shoved over to the side. So a great piece I invested in that allows for his comfort AND my beautiful uninterrupted display of trinkets was my sleek side table.

Today’s decor idea takes place on this very table. It was inspired by all of the Mercury CandleHolders and Glass Vases I have collected over time from West Elm. Since I have a few in various heights, I love displaying them in a tight cluster. To accentuate them as a “set,” I recommend placing them on a tray… or in my case I chose a slab of petrified wood that I got from ABC Home. Alongside the display I kept with the silver theme and placed a vintage lantern {similar here}. What I love is that while this week I kept the mix strictly silver/whites and filled the candleholders with white tea candles, next week I may add a pop color and fill the small candleholders with bright flowers… the options are endless!
