#1 There is nothing better than an over-sized sheer blouse because they are just so darn versatile! They are perfect tucked in to skinny jeans, or free-flowing with leggings … they can be paired with a structured blazer for an interview, or they can be layered with an over-sized cardigan for a Sunday afternoon jaunt, they can be “sex-ed” up for evening with a lacy black bra peeking out, or mixed with a boyfriend tank for every day casual. Really want to mix it up? Un-do the last few buttons and tie the bottom of the shirt in a knot for that rodeo look. Bottom line, I live for these shirts! #2 If you are a loyal reader to the FH, you know by now that stud earrings are my go-to. These Dara Ettinger Alicia Studs $84.00 are the perfect update to Fall since they are chrome-colored. And lately my ears are super sensitive so I love that they are 24k gold plated!

#3 Hello awesome necklace! This Melora Necklace: Orly Genger by Jaclyn Mayer $304.00 is seriously sick. I could totally wear it to work with an Equipment blouse (like above) or for a night out on the town with a hot black dress (if I ever do go out clubbing during my pregnancy… hey, I can have aspirations!).

#4 I am all about arm parties. If you follow me on instagram (@FashionableHostess) you will see I upload my arm candy at least bi-weekly, so when I came across Sara Designs, who mixes ‘arm parties’ and ‘practicality’ ie. WATCHES, I was totally game to make the switch. (I was actually on the hunt for an over-sized Michael Kors-esque watch anyways… but I looked so stupid with this HUGE menswear watch dangling off my tiny wrist, so these were PERFECT!) And best of all, they are adjustable… They have extra chain with a lobster-claw clasp so you can make it as small or big as you need. (If my wrist does grow during my pregnancy, I am totally golden… which isn’t so much the case for my shoes… but that’s for another article.) Anywho, I purchased this one on Shopbop but I am DYING over this new Sara Design’s combo: the All Chain Watch in gold $265.00 and their B12 Yellow/G Bracelet – they have insane bracelets as well [available at their Design Studio  – call  646 688 5557 to place an order]. I love that the yellow in this bracelet gives my dark outfit the complimentary pop of color a Miami-girl-at-heart is always craving.

#5 Ugh how CHIC is this 3.1 Phillip Lim Pashli Satchel $895.00. First of all I die for the color because it goes with black and brown boots. Second, the size is amazing for work or airplane travel (tons of room for i pads, small makeup bag, sunglasses, 10 lip glosses, gum, a small child… ok maybe not the baby, but seriously amaze). Third, due to its structured shape it is ten times easier to find things… you can place the bag down and grab something out as opposed to it being flimsy and flopping all over the place.

#6 I am on a hunt for boots like it is no one’s business. I need the perfect mix of chic and comfort. I have todo a fair amount of walking between home, work, and a subway ride on a daily basis. In the summer it’s easy to throw my pumps in my purse, wear flip flops for the walk, and then throw on the pumps upon arriving to the office. Come fall it’s not like I am going to throw a spare pair of boots in my purse (I don’t care how spacious my Phillip Lim bag is, it ain’t happening) so wearing one pair of shoes for travel and work is essential. With that being said, flat boots like my go-t0 Fryes can look clunky and under-dressed, so the Friisky Ankle Booties by Steven $150.00 (I know, insane price, I may need them in brown too!) are perfect for comfort (great thick heel) and chic (love that they look like the Rag N Bone Harlow Booties!)
