Fall is here and I wanted to share how I have been decorating my home to celebrate the new season. Not only does it look so fun when you drive up our driveway, but my kids loved helping me put the look together. Starting with my front steps – I chose the cutest assortment of fall items. To create the look, I started with two large white pumpkins {I can’t get over how they are everywhere I turn in Nashville} and in between placed a whicker basket upside down {almost like a stand} and placed on top a cluster of mini white pumpkins and a metal basket full of squash and gourds that I got at the grocery. Then I took two Halloween tins {I found in the dollar section of Target} and filled them with glittery pinecones and magnolia leaves that I spray painted gold! Oh, and if you are more of a faux pumpkin person, Pottery Barn has an amazing selection here.
Then as you open the door to my foyer I have a round entry table which I decorated as well. I placed two gold Pottery Barn lanterns {similar} alongside a cluster of pumpkins, squash and gourds. I usually have a large orchid on the table so I just left it there for height behind the cluster {and if you are looking for a fabulous faux one Diane James Home makes great ones!}. Then in Monday’s post I shared my fireplace mantel {see here} and Friday I will be sharing the bar cart I styled on my patio for Fall drinks! Stay tuned for home pics on my Instagram with hashtag #TNChateauFH.
