Create the Most Delicious Mezze Platters

Meditteranean Night

As a follow up to my previous post, I love the idea of hosting a Mediterranean Inspired Soiree in the New Year. With so many healthy dishes to choose from, it’s easy to keep you and your guests resolutions on track, and the colors of the table are so bright and fresh. Creating delicious Mezze Platters as the focal point of your table is essential to bringing this dinner party to life, so I wanted to share a look at the ones I like to create.

For those of you unfamiliar with mezze platters, the word “meze” means “taste” or “snack” so a mezze board is a selection of small dishes/ appetizers served on a board (and is a big party of dining in the Middle East and Greece). These boards are prepared and awaiting guests on the table when they sit down to eat, much like we in the US serve bread and butter.

For my Mediterranean Inspired Dinner Parties, I like to create two different mezze platters for guests to enjoy: a veggie platter and a traditional platter. Read on for my shopping list.
