I was so excited when Bed Bath & Beyond asked me to partner with them by throwing a gorgeous Bridal Shower Party using their new collection Oliver & Olivia. Not only because the collection was beautiful, but also because it brought back endless memories of my engagement year when I registered at Bed Bath & Beyond and then had a pink bridal shower at home! Isn’t it amazing how it all comes full circle!

Well sadly for me when I was registering, Bed Bath & Beyond didn’t have this gorgeous new line Oliver & Olivia, which includes everything in this display from the dishware, to the stemware, to the flatware, because it is beyond stunning. Fast forward to today though it is perfectly timed, because as I am in love with golds, especially anything gold-rimmed {like their gorgeous glasses!}. The Oliver & Olivia Madison Gold Dinnerware CollectionΒ is timelessΒ white bone china that brings an effortless elegance to any table, while being incredibly versatile. {The collection has options to do the rims in platinumΒ as well, see here!}. The Madison Gold Stemware CollectionΒ which includes a white wine, red wine, champagne flute, and cocktail glass {or as I prefer to call it, a coupe!}, is fine crystal while being dishwasher safe! The Madison Gold FlatwareΒ is stainless steel, dishwasher safe, and has a mirror finish!

While the dishes really could have worked with any color story, today I went with my personal favorite, over the top pink. And while I thought about collaborating with a flower company to enhance the table, I thought a DIY story would be much better suited! I simply chose a few different pink and white flowers… pink roses, pink hydrangea, and white roses, and placed them in assorted crystal bud vases. To tie it all together,Β I chose pink cloth napkinsΒ which I secured withΒ faux hydrangea napkin ringsΒ to match back to the blooms.

Whenever I host a party I like to have a few different focal points for decorating {ie.Β a few different β€œphoto opp” areas} because I want my guests eyes to wander throughout the party, and for them to continue to find things that they didn’t notice when they first arrived. In today’s party I did this by creating a dessert buffet and a bar cart display alongside my table. I will share in greater detail how I created these spacesΒ later this week on the blog.

Brides reading this, you are probably jumping out of your seat because you now have some new additions to your registry. I highly recommend heading in-store todo all of your registry even though you can add online {I found it the easiest way to navigate and stay organized, plus the registry staff is super helpful!}. Then for you hostesses, I have aΒ unique wedding gift concept for the bride!Β Rather than renting everything for the party, go ahead and buy a set of her registryΒ plates, dishes or glasses and then use them at the shower. Just wash and drop them off after the party. It saves money on rentals, plus now the brideΒ will now have her firstΒ special memory with these pieces!

I hope you loved seeing this table as much as I enjoyed creating it! Stay tuned this week as I share more on what I served!

  1. Amanda, I always enjoy seeing your beautiful event and party designs, and this shower is just beautiful! I agree that the key to creating a beautiful party is to provide several different focal points for your guests such as the bar cart/ drink bar and dessert bar! Sarah

  2. This is just beautiful! You did such a remarkable job on it! I was curious, your buffet and mirror, have you had it a while? I’ve been looking around for something like that, haven’t seen anything that gorgeous! Stunning! Great ideas, thank you for sharing!
