Looking for a new appetizer to wow guests? Today I wanted to share the “Tuna Stack” I made this past weekend which was a HIT!! The final display looked like restaurant quality and the taste was so fresh!!
Here’s how I made my “Stacks”
Ingredients:
- 1 cup White Rice
- 1 can StarKist E.V.O.O. Albacore or Yellowfin Tuna
- 1/2 Cup Guacamole (fresh or store-bought)
- 1/2 cup diced Veggies : Yellow pepper, cucumber, Cilantro
If you aren’t familiar with StarKist’s Tuna marinated in E.V.O.O. (extra virgin olive oil), it is incredibly rich in flavor, wild caught, a natural source of Omega 3s, Gluten Free, and Soy Free.
To make my “Stack” I used a measuring spoon in the size 1 cup. I worked layer by layer, starting with the rice, next the tuna, next the guacamole, and lastly the fresh veggies. Get out a pretty plate and flip the measuring cup over to create the perfect appetizer tower. Drizzle with balsamic vinaigrette and serve! It’s lovely on a bed of salad or on it’s own as an appetizer!!
Thank you to StarKist E.V.O.O for sponsoring this post.
