Inspiration from the Hamptons Designer Showhouse

Last weekend I visited the 2018 Hamptons Designer Showhouse presented by Traditional Home and I can’t stop looking back through all of my gorgeous photos from my visit. Each room was so thoughtfully designed and there was so much inspiration to take away. So today I wanted to share some of my personal photos from the visit (selfishly because I want to add them to my Pinterest Board), but also so you too can be inspired by a few rooms in the home.

Not familiar with the Showhouse concept? Essentially it’s when a group of designers are chosen to decorate an empty home. Each designer is assigned a specific room and from there, the designer’s creativity can run free. They partner with countless brands to bring the rooms to life, bringing in incredible light fixtures, installing wallpaper, and installing shelving, you name it. Once completed, the house becomes open to the public (with tickets for sale), and in this case, proceeds from the tickets go to Southampton Hospital. Long story short, it’s inspiration overload – and this house in particular was so stunning it had me wanting to build a new house!! Oh, and my passion for blues was met!
