When designing Brooks’ new room, I wanted it to be super cozy with an element of fun. In doing so, I chose a soft blue color palette for the walls, Benjamin Moore 1625 Blue Lace {the same as his last nursery}, contrasted to all white furniture, and then a few trendy toys.  {I know, it sounds like an oxymoron, but there are actually cute and cool toys out there!} Ie. I found the cutest selection via Pillowfort for Target, like this TeePee! Other Pillowfort finds included this heart lamp that we got for Reese’s room {I will be sharing the reveal soon!} and an adorable unicorn head for the playroom. But they have everything from art prints to bedding!

As for the TeePee… isn’t it just amazing how little kids can play peek-a-boo for hours and never cease to be amazed. Between me, Reese, my husband and Brooks, we all spent the entire weekend climbing in and out of this teepee, whether it was for hide and seek or to cozy up with a book. Brooks’ room was the destination for fun! I am so happy he is as excited about his room as I am {because you know I am all about aesthetic!}.
