  2. Coastal Vibes

I recently featured how I updated my family room for Summer {see the post here}, so today I wanted to share some pieces that work into the “coastal” trend that I am channeling this time of year! Think beach house with lots of indigo accents and light-weight fabrics! Shop some of my favorites below.

  3. Ginger Jar Wish List

Ever since I shared Kelley Nan’s summer tablescape that featured a gorgeous floral centerpiece in an oversized Ginger Jar, I have been on the hunt for Ginger Jars of my own! I scoured the internet and found so many good ones, from Furbish Studio which has great classic Chinese society and landscape ones for $60 {here}, to Williams Sonoma which has a wide assortment in size and colors (some red, some blue, some grey!) from $60-$250 {here}. Then Design Darling has the cutest Ginger Jar themed accessories, from $10 Ginger Jar match boxes {here} to Ginger Jar prints for only $25 {here}! Shop more finds…

  4. Gold Home Accessories

When we began the decorating process for our home we realized that nearly every fixture, from a doorknob to a sink faucet, was gold. A lover of the finish I was thrilled to pick out furniture pieces with gold hardware and light fixtures with gold chains. But of course most of all I loved hunting for a whole new slew of accessories {I have so many more display shelves in our living room and dining room it is crazy!}. So here are some of the pieces I have purchased as well as a few things I am eyeing! Happy Shopping!

  5. Chandelier Roundup for the Budget Conscious

When people ask me what I think makes the biggest statement in a home my answer is always light fixtures. Until I moved into a home {and out of my New York City apartment} I had no idea how much a chandelier could impact a room. A crystal chandelier can soften a bedroom, while a statement lantern can brighten an entry. I know light fixtures come in all price ranges, so today I wanted to share some of the biggest steals I found across the web… an incredible selection all under $300! Happy Shopping!
