1. Ginger Jar Wish List

the best ginger jars - roundup by Fashionable HostessEver since I shared Kelley Nan’s summer tablescape that featured a gorgeous floral centerpiece in an oversized Ginger Jar, I have been on the hunt for Ginger Jars of my own! Then Design Darling has the cutest Ginger Jar themed accessories, from $10 Ginger Jar match boxes {here} to Ginger Jar prints for only $25 {here}! Shop more finds below, I am seriously struggling to narrow down which I should buy… if not mulitple!

  2. Create the Perfect Fall Bar

With the leaves changing colors and the air getting brisker, it’s time to put away the Coronas and fruity cocktails in exchange for some strong-tasting and soul-warming liquor. When asking some reliable sources {by which I mean, my husband and his close friends} which they preferred, they confirmed that Whiskey and Bourbon were their go-to’s. Now it was my job to make the presentation FH worthy. When creating a Fall Bar, I recommend you start with a dark colored, textured serving tray, like a faux croc or stingray {similar here and here}. Then I recommend selecting a variety of nice liquors and placing them…

So here are some of the pieces I have purchased as well as a few things I am eyeing! Happy Shopping!

  4. Update your Home for Fall

Back in Spring when I gave my first living room tour, my room had a few bright accent items – from my flowers to my couch pillows. But now that Fall has rolled around I made a few adjustments to make my home seasonally ready. My goal: To swap the brights for neutrals so it would still feel airy and bright when guests walked in, but have an overall warmer Fall-feel. What did I do to make this happen? First I started by swapping my bright couch pillows for neutral couch pillows {one of my favorites here}. Next, on my coffee table I removed my…

  5. Boll & Branch Bedding

When I think about the place my family spends the most time, sure enough our master bed is hands down the most popular spot. It’s where we cuddle up for episodes of Daniel Tiger or Dora the Explorer before bed, it’s the spot for afternoon books and stories, and it’s the “saftey” when we play a wild and crazy game of tag. Pretty much every morning and every night begins and ends with all four of us cuddled close. So when I decided to make a few New Years refreshers, like I did in my office {here}, I also decided todo the…
