About Me

Want to host the most gorgeous and memorable dinner parties?

Want your home to look stylish and elegant (even if there are little ones running around)?!

You can have it all and the Fashionable Hostess is here to help!

Meet Amanda Saiontz Gluck, creator of Fashionable Hostess.

Decor lover, Dinner Party Hostess, and Mom of three, this fashionable entertaining entrepreneur has been styling cheese platters since she was first old enough to reach her dining room table.

After graduating from Brown University, Amanda moved to NYC where she resided eight years. Her resume included design for Macy’s Merchandising Group, working the fashion closet at Harpers Bazaar, planning special events for Sundance Film Festival and New York Fashion Week, and working as the PR & Events Manager for Alice & Trixie.

Amanda began her blog in 2011 when she became engaged and acquiring endless new sets of glassware; she loved entertaining for guests and wanted to share her adventures of hosting endless dinner parties as a source of inspiration for fellow newly weds and young homemakers. Since then her blog has evolved to include full blown dinner parties and events she hosts in her home, hostess tips, wedding registry essentials, home decor ideas, and snippets of life in her own home with her growing family.

In 2014 Amanda became a contributing editor for StyleMePretty.com and TheNest.com. Her extensive press list includes features on Martha Stewart, Elle Decor, Style Me Pretty, Glitter Guide, Bridal Guide, and more. Amanda’s various homes {in New York City, Nashville and Miami} have been featured on Style Me Pretty Home Tours and Apartment Therapy. For a full list of press and links to these posts, head to the Press Page.

Amanda relocated from New York City {the #ChateauFH} to Nashville {the #TNChateauFH} and most recently moved back home to Miami {the #MIAChateauFH} with her husband and three children. She works daily to cover everything and anything in the realm of entertaining, decor, recipes, and registry.

Amanda is the sole contributor to this site.

Amanda works with several photographers to produce the gorgeous photos for this site, please inquire for further details.
