I, the Fashionable Hostess and Arielle, the Nutritionist behind BeWellwithArielle.com teamed up to host a series of Dinner Parties called Delicious & Decadent Dinners. I am excited to share a recap of one of our recent events.

The Delicious and Decadent Spring Detox Dinner was the perfect event to kick-off Spring time, from Be Well with Arielle‘s ‘detox-concious’ menu (because I think we all need a cleanse before bikini time) to my mission to design a colorful and playful day-to-night decor. It was a wonderful event and to top it off, a portion of the proceeds went towards the Liya Kebede Foundation, a charity near and dear to us. Here’s a brief recap…

  2. Organize your Baby Clothes

From the time of your baby shower through the first few months of your baby’s life, most mommies are given tons and tons of baby clothes. A common phrase when receiving the gift is “well, your baby is going to grow so fast, so I got you something in a bigger size.” Ultimately your baby’s closet becomes a mish-mosh of clothes that range from 0 months to 12 months making getting dressed time a ‘search mission’ for an outfit in the appropriate size. I found that sifting through 100 onesies while the baby lay waiting on the changing table wasn’t…

  4. Comfy with a Pop of Neon

Is it me or are you also DYING to get into some bright spring gear? Well, with the weather still frigid in NYC, I am trying to find ways to bring out my spring style while not freezing my behind off, and today’s post does just that. I am OBSESSED with my new ‘Bonjour Striped Pull-Over’ by Stripe N sold at Piperlime. It looks ridiculously cute but seriously is as comfy as your favorite worn-in sweatshirt. I totally envision wearing it this summer paired with white jeans to travel through the airport, to hit a summer movie, or tossed…

  5. Organize your Swimsuits

My husband and I decided that this weekend we are officially going to sit down and plan out our summer calendar (Yippee – Miami, Nashville, Aspen, San Fran, here we come!!) On the agenda: discussing what weekends we plan to travel and what flights we need to book. On my personal agenda lays an equally as exciting task of envisioning what I plan to pack! In anticipation for the big meeting, I decided to do a little prep work and locate my bikinis that have been hidden away all winter. But what sounded like a dandy little activity to get…
