Come wintertime I am always torn about how to dress for evening plans. In the warmer months my go-to is a sleeveless or strappy tank, maybe layered with a leather jacket, but with the recent freezing cold temperatures, if I go sleeveless I am seriously frozen. As a result I have been on the hunt for tops that are flattering but warm. So I found the perfect marriage of these requirements when I came across this cowl neck chunky knitsweater from Chicos. The neckline is incredibly flattering versus a regular turtleneck and being knit, makes it so cozy.

To offset the chunkiness of the sweater and show off my figure, I paired the top back to a pair of black leggings {these} and heeled booties. And to finish off the look, some great accessories like my DVF leopard clutch, a pendant necklace and stacked rosegold rings. Winter nights are definitely warming up around here!
