Patio BBQ with Villeroy & Boch
Jul 27, 2016
This summer we love to spend our Sunday nights grilling and eating out on our patio. Our dinner go-to is an assortment of chicken and steak kabobs, so I had been on the the hunt for new grilling pieces so our dinners would be FH worthy. Perfectly enough Villeroy & Boch introduced me to their BBQ collection, which includes elegant skewers, kabob plates, and more, so I couldn’t wait to turn up the heat at my next gathering {literally!}. Today I am excited to share all of my finds with a look at our latest feast, a swoon worthy occasion! I recommend you light up the grill in preparation!
For tonight’s table I kept it simple. At each place setting I laid a Kim Seybert bamboo placemat, then a Villeroy & Boch blue charger, then a folded Sferra linen napkin, and a classic white dinner plate on top. Paired with V&B’s Classica silverware and their blue boston ‘double old fashioned’ glasses which I actually like for water, it feels almost nautical with the array of blue and whites! Then for the center of the table I alternated V&B blue and white square vases with a mix of ‘organic’ arrangements created by the floral team at Kitanim; a beautiful assortment of hydrangeas, queen anne’s lace, veronicas, and viburnum berries.
Alongside my table I made a buffet of my favorite summer dinner items. Kabobs of chicken, onions, and peppers {I am in love with the V&B silver kabob skewers – I actually hadn’t seen really fancy skewers prior to these, and I love how long they are, making them extra safe for grilling!}. I placed them on my kabob platter that has little slots for each kabob. Next I made a light salad with arugula, mandarins, and strawberries, a dish of baked beans, and platter of blue corn chips and fresh salsa. I put my desserts and drinks on a separate bar cart filled with mini key lime pies and sliced watermelon and strawberries. Casual but so delicious, I couldn’t envision a better way to spend a summer night! Be sure to shop the post below.
