Setting the Table for Fall

The Perfect Fall Tablescape

When I was brainstorming the perfect table I could use over and over again this Fall, I knew I wanted something that was homey and inviting, something that was simple enough that I could throw together without much headache, and something with seasonal elements. And thus… this simply elegant fall table came to life.

First and foremost, I love candlelight for Fall… there’s something so cozy about a candle flickering at your table as the chilly air heads your way. So clearly I quickly fell in LOVE with the Simon Pearce Hurricanes I used as my center pieces. Coming in various sizes (I chose small, medium and large!), they are pieces that work year-round.

To give my hurricanes that “Fall feel” I took a few eucalyptus branches and tucked them inside, twisting around my candles. (I totally plan to swap the eucalyptus for twinkle lights and ornaments come holiday time). Alternating the various sized hurricanes down the center of the table looks incredibly elegant, and unlike flowers, I can leave them out party after party!!

Then for my place settings, I chose the most gorgeous embroidered napkins and foliage napkin rings from Kim Seybert. I placed them on top of a simple white dinner plate and a hyacinth placemat, which instantly added texture and color.

Here are some photos of my table pre and post candle light!!

Can’t you just see yourself using this table over and over again this Fall?! Looking forward to a fabulous new season!!
