With so many summer weddings and bridal showers on everyone’s agenda, I wanted to create a multi-purpose table that could work for a girly event, or a special summer dinner at home. In my case, I was celebrating the arrival of my new dining room table {yay, I can finally seat 10!}. From there I headed to my ‘Tablesetting Inspiration’ and ‘Floral Inspiration’ Pinterest Boards where I found I was pinning over and over again these simple white tables that had a few pops of pretty pink flowers; so I had to emulate.
I started by taking five Chilewich Gold Mod Placemats and layered them across the center of my table creating what looked to be a tablerunner. I then headed to the market and picked up some simple flowers todo a little DIY arranging. I assembled roses, white pom poms, and pink carnations into a mix of vases. {Seriously the flowers are so pretty you can’t mess this up – I am NOT a professional flower arranger!!} My main centerpiece vase was a sleek white Jonathan Adler Giant Belly Vase; then surrounding it on either side was a small arrangement in a gold mint julep cup. In between the small vases I placed my Jonathan Adler Eve Candle Holders with tall candle sticks.
To compliment this very elegant look, I used me clear Villeroy & Boch Boston Goblets for water glasses, Juliska Amalia Balloon glasses for wine, and Kim Seybert napkins and napkin rings.
To compliment the setting even further, I greeted guests with a bottle of Rosé Impérial Moët & Chandon because the pink was a perfect match! I am beyond in love with how this came out and can’t wait to use it again – hopefully someone asks me to plan a bridal shower soon!
