One of my favorite parts of the day is prepping dinner with my mini assistant, Reese. Little Miss Independent loves to get involved, so throwing together a dinner with Bertolli is easy and fun for all of us. While I heat up the pan, she places the “chilly” pasta in a spare bowl. Then once cooked, I bring over a bar stool so we can mix {and occasionally taste-test} our hard work. Then of course a little sprinkling of fresh cheese is in order right before we sit down to a family meal.
Bertolli has a phrase called “Mangia Moments.” Mangia is more than a toast, it’s a mood, it’s a way of life. What is so amazing about this Bertolli meal {the Chicken Florentine & Farfalle} is that we can spontaneously decided to have a quick and fun cooking lesson from the freezer to our plates in 10 minutes! I love teaching my daughter Reese to cook. It is such a special time we have with just the two of us! Weekdays with my busy work schedule, two little ones, and not nearly enough hours in the day can definitely be exhausting, so an easy dinner that includes pasta, protein, and yummy sauces, all cookable in under ten minutes is a must on my list. One less thing to be stressed about so at dinner time I can take a second to actually sit with the kids and take in how lucky I am to be surrounded by the ones I love {with such yummy food}.
This post is brought to you by Bertolli. Don’t just eat, Mangia!
