Life at the Kitchen Counter

My kitchen got a new look and I don’t just mean the Fall decor. Check out our gorgeous new Serena & Lily Balboa Counter Stools which give the room that warm feeling I was craving for the new season (See the before here)!!

I fell in love with rattan this Spring but I love how it transitions from season to season, coordinating perfectly with the warm copper accents I added. I am also in love with the details of these stools… the brass end caps on each leg are so chic.

Then for comfort, the stools come with a tailored cushion in multiple fabrics options. I went with the Perennials Performance Basketweave in white. The Perennials Performance Basketweave fabrics are woven from 100% acrylic and have a thicker, more luxurious texture. They are designed to repel water and staining (perfect for my kids). And if I decide to bring them outside for a party, they are also guaranteed to resist fading for 3 years and resist mold and mildew!

Accessories

I picked up a few more Serena & Lily accessories to compliment my fresh look. The Brela Napkins which are lock-printed by hand on soft cotton voile (each border stripe is slightly different from the next for a gorgeous look with a subtle sense of movement). And then over at our breakfast table I filled my gorgeous oversized rectangular Bedford Tray with whimsical branches and faux pumpkins.
