I was so excited when Pottery Barn asked me to partner in decorating my fireplace mantel with their incredible Halloween Collection. From their stacked ceramic pumpkins, to their beautiful autumn garland that I laid across the mantel {how cute are the berries!!}, I love the way the project turned out {and they have so many ‘classy’ decorations to choose from!}! Be sure to see it on the Pottery Barn Blog Inside & Out, read how I put together the look below, and shop the full look at the bottom of this post!

To create the look I started by laying a Pottery Barn Bittersweet Garland across the mantel. Then I staggered large pillar candles, pumpkins, and black candlesticks throughout. I chose this garland because of its beautiful colors and earthy elements — like the incredibly realistic pinecones! The leaves on the garland are complementary to the pops of orange in the pumpkins. Candles at varying heights in black candleholders look festive and just slightly spooky when lit up at night.

Then in front of my fireplace I took some of my favorite everyday brass Pottery Barn lanterns from my patio and incorporated them into the mix by placing them alongside lit pumpkins and a small ceramic pumpkin. I love to place clusters of three to four items throughout my home for a splash of visual interest, like on my front porch or even on our front stairwell. Then on my bar cart I twirled some adorable Pottery Barn pumpkin garlands around the legs and then placed a large Pottery Barn orange pumpkin right on top. Come party-time this will be the perfect place for cocktails to be carted around! {See my more elaborate Halloween bar cart in this post.}

Thanks Pottery Barn for partnering for such a fun project!!
