Brainstorming ways to make this Valentine’s Day a bit more special? In today’s post I rounded up some of my favorite ideas to creating the perfect day, whether it’s for that someone special or for a full blown party!
Number one, go for the mini’s! Some of my favorite champagne brands, like Chandon does mini bottles of rosé! I love that everyone has a personal bottle {or two or three} for the night!
Number two, for those of you hosting Valentine’s Day dinner, ditch the bread and serve dessert first {like I did in this post!}. Individual cupcake domes are super sweet at each setting filled with a stack of macarons or cupcakes!
Number three, create a heart cheese plate! DIY it by taking a large Brie and tracing the shape with a heart cookie cutter, or browse your local Trader Joes where they come out with heart bries right before the Holiday!
Number four, start the day with breakfast in bed like I did in this post! I bought a heart waffle maker, XO hangtags, and pink candies to make it romantic!
Number five, make a Valentine’s Day cocktail! Of course go overboard with red garnishes and festive straws!
Number six, decorate your bar cart like I did in this post. Hang heart garlands, create a lush bouquet, and prepare pre-made cocktails {all the details in my post!}!
Number seven, instead of your usual dessert, create a DIY cookie decorating station! Pre-make {or buy} large cookies or brownies and place a selection of frostings, sprinkles, and candies to decorate with! May the prettiest cookie win!
