WhenΒ it comes to investing inΒ dishware, I love recommendingΒ black and white because it is so versatile. When paired with certain centerpieces,Β it can be edgy and modern {see an example with silver mercury vasesΒ here}, but when paired with classic centerpieces {as seen here with a bouquet of elegant white roses}, itΒ can take on a whole new feel of sophistication.
For today’s table, I started by laying out myΒ Chilewich White Woven Basketweave PlacematsΒ andΒ next placed my dinner plates {similar Kate Spade Dinner Plate} and an accent bowl {similar West ElmΒ Potter’s Workshop Tableware} on top. I placed Stone Textile Grey Diamond Print NapkinsΒ withΒ Chilewich White Basketweave Napkin RingsΒ to the left of each table setting. For glassware, I placed my Urban BelleΒ stemless glassesΒ for water and myΒ Riedel Chardonnay Wine GlassesΒ for wine. The centerpiece was a bouquet of a dozen white roses in a glass cylinder vase {I love seeing the stems!} and the finishing touch was a silver water pitcher {similar Michael Aram New Molten Pitcher}.
