Cherishing tradition this Holiday Season

When it comes to the Holidays, some of the best memories are created sitting around the table enjoying a special meal with loved ones… whether it’s at home or at a restaurant. So today I am excited to partner with Capital One® as they launch their new Savor Card, a card that understands these moments of coming together and wants to celebrate them, giving 3% cash back on dining, 2% on grocery, and 1% back on all other purchases… making these moments that much more enjoyable!

When it comes to entertaining for my family over the Holiday season, it’s all about carrying on family traditions and recipes. And a recipe near and dear to me is my grandmother’s apple sauce. The smell of her applesauce takes me back to Sunday night dinners at her home on Miami Beach. All of my cousins and aunts and uncles would spend the day together at her house, ending the sun-filled day with a big family dinner around her dining table. Every Sunday’s meal was accompanied by her home applesauce which was a recipe that was passed down to her from mother. She always placed a delicate bowl at each person’s seat to enjoy. Those dinners were some of the most memorable ones from my childhood. And thus the applesauce was carried on in the family… always served at holidays and at most family gatherings.

So in preparation of my Fall family gatherings I created a festive Fall tablescape accompanied by her famous applesauce recipe in delicate bowls just as she always did. Of course I gave the table my FH flare by creating a fresh runner of eucalyptus and sprinkled in apples for a bit of color. Simple and elegant, I can’t wait to host family and friends in my home this season!

So this Holiday season, remember to cherish those special moments and create new memories with your loved ones. Learn more about the Capital One Savor card here: https://www.capitalone.com/credit-cards/savor-dining-rewards/
