Create Buffet Labels for your Holiday Dinner Table
Dec 23, 2013
When entertaining this Holiday season, step up your buffet-style dinner presentation by adding a quick, easy, and inexpensive decorating tip. Head to your local stationary store and pick up card stock paper {at a great store like the Envelopper in NYC, you will have multiple color and size options}, bring home and load into your printer, and create festive and elaborate buffet labels for your dishes.
Impress guests by giving your dishes “fancy” and “sophisticated” names. Rather than simply writing “Grilled Chicken,” jazz it up by saying “Free-Range Grilled Chicken in a Light Lemon Sauce.” Once you have made your labels, display them throughout your dinner – from your appetizer stations to your main courses. In this case my examples come from the Delicious and Decadent Dinner {see full recap here!} that I threw for a Spring-time event. For the Holidays I would absolutely recommend using golds, reds and greens, so have fun being creative! Happy Feasting!!
