Fourth of July is almost here – woohoo! So rather focusing on what’s left todo at the office, you are probably stressing over what outfit to wear that will take you from morning at the office, to your hustle to the jitney, to your cocktails outside in the Hamptons. With the weather being humid, I came up with the perfect outfit to keep you comfortable for travel but perfect for heading straight to Happy Hour.

So what am I wearing? An oversize top that is breathable!! Cotton or mesh is always a good choice; I went with a Helmut Lang Veiled Linen sweater and recommended some fun others below. Then I live in white denim shorts, my Rag & Bone/JEAN Mila distressed cut-off shorts. The Joie Louisa Tote Bag is great since it doubles as a large bag for travel and then a waterproof beach bag at your destination. Then day-to-night summer sandals, my Sam Edelman Trina sandals from last summer are still an obsession. For my arm party I chose a Julie Vos Byzantine Cuff, Giles & Brother Giant Multi-Chain Bracelet, and an Ettika metal bangle with pryamid studs. And because I know you will be rushing, I recommend a messy bun (the key is not pulling it back too tight!). Now get ready to hit the road and enjoy an awesome weekend!
