Fall Brunch Party

with Mionetto Prosecco

This weekend we are having family and friends over for brunch so I wanted to whip up the perfect Fall spread for the occasion. I set out a beautiful display of Fall themed foods on our bar and then created a bar cart of apple cider mimosas made with Mionetto Prosecco to compliment. Equal parts pretty and delicious, I am in love with how it all came out!! This is the perfect brunch menu for a Fall weekend gathering or the perfect brunch to whip up over the Holidays when you have guests staying at your house for a long weekend. Cheers to a fabulous and festive start to the weekend!

So first things first, on to the Apple Cider Mimosas…

Apple Cider Mimosas with Mionetto Prosecco: Mix equal parts Apple Cider Punch {my Recipe is here} + Mionetto Prosecco. You can garnish the rim with caramel, cinnamon sugar, or an apple slice like I did here. Serve in a classic champagne flute and always have extra Prosecco standing by for refills!

This menu just screams FALL!!

First I started by making my Pumpkin Spice Muffins in festive Fall shapes. The Williams Sonoma Nordic Ware Cakelet Pan, which makes six cakelets (or muffins) in the shape of Fall leaves, acorns and pumpkins is definitely my favorite “Hostess” purchase this season and is such a hit with kids and parents!! Spray with non-stock and fill with anything from muffins to bundt cakes and you look like the most chic hostess!!

Next on the menu: my Baked Fruit Casserole which I found on CotterCrunch.com. Gluten free, it’s made with apples, cranberries, nutmeg – really delicious, which I served it in my served in my Villeroy & Boch Clever Baking Square dish. Lastly, for protein I made an egg and cheese Frittata which I cut like a pizza to be extra family-friendly. I kept mine pretty simple but you can get really creative with endless veggies!

Presentation is everything! To give it that Fall feel, I laid a plaid buffalo check runner down my bar which I actually crinkled a bit to give it that “cozy picnic feel.” Then I used a range of cake stands for my various dishes. A Pottery Barn three tiered cake stand for the muffins (notice that I filled the bottom level with apples for color!). Lenox’s Opal Innocence Carved Footed Cake Plate for extra muffins (this time placed on a linen napkin for texture!), and the Entertain 365 Sculpture Cake Plate for the frittata. (Oh, and don’t forget your garnish!!). As I mentioned earlier I used Villeroy & Boch Clever Baking Square dish for the Baked Fruit.

To make the drinks on the bar look extra fancy, I tied little hangtags around each flute and placed on a white scalloped cake stand as well. For my bar cart presentation, I twirled an Artificial Eucalyptus Leaf Garland (similar) around my gold bar cart and placed a sign in front. I couldn’t find this exact “Happy Fall Y’all” sign but I did find a pretty close on Etsy.

Hope I inspired you to add a few Fall touches to your next brunch or breakfast spread! Happy Fall y’all!
