Pool & Patio Tour

I gave a little glimpse of my patio furniture in my Summer Home Tour but I had so many more beautiful photos to share of our backyard and all the new outdoor furniture pieces from Frontgate that I felt the need to create a dedicated post to this space of our home.

So… Welcome to our little piece of Miami paradise. Everyone asks how much we go to the beach since we live in Miami, and my answer is “ummm, never!” {Ok, maybe once in a while, but really, why leave?!}. With two little ones that love to swim and a great patio area, I couldn’t wait to decorate this space so we could spend all our free time out here, from playtime to entertaining.

You probably remember I partnered with Frontgate to furnish our covered patio {see the tour here}, and I loved the furniture, design, and decorative elements so much that I had to continue with the same furniture group, textures, and colors out around the pool. I am excited to share the finished look and the list of links to everything I own.

Let’s start on the “entertaining side.” The couches and chairs for watching our swimmers or enjoying light bites and drinks are the Madeira Modular Sectional. Then I am IN LOVE with the Grace Coffee Tables. Elegant yet fun, and a great size, there’s plenty of space for lunch platters, drinks, or displaying towels. I chose the same outdoor rug, the Palm Lamontage Outdoor Rug, to add a pop of color.

Behind the couch… How fun is this rolling bar cart!  It has a built-in beverage tub and ice bucket, open and close panels that double as secure serving surfaces, and the best part… the tubs and drink buckets remove easily for cleaning.

*Oh, and it is important to note that I DO NOT bring any of this furniture indoors ever, it all stays outside, uncovered {I actually get asked about this a lot on Instagram!}.

Behind the couch seating is our “dining area,” ie. Café Round Tables with striped umbrellas. These were my husband’s idea because he wanted a shaded place for us to enjoy lunch with the kids. They are quite fabulous on a hot sunny day and the striped pattern feels so French Riviera, right?!.

Two things to note here… we chose these cushions to make the chairs extra comfy and you must buy the umbrella base in addition to the umbrella for underneath your café table!

Moving over to the far end of the pool. I wanted a place for lounging and tanning so chaise lounge chairs were perfect {here is a similar option}. I placed bright blue outdoor pillows at each chair to tie back to the opposite side of the pool.

Lastly I have to note a few of the fabulous pool floats from Frontgate.

Corn hole in the pool – um, amazing! Seriously, guests of all ages love playing and I love the stripe print! Then lounge floats are always essential for a pool party. And not featured but a few other favorites that I bought for summer entertaining are the Swan Float and the Pineapple Drink Caddy.

To organize all our pool floats we have the Aluminum Float Organizer.

Here is a little recap of everything we have in our backyard! Thanks for taking the tour!
