Strawberry Rosé Margaritas for Cinco de Mayo
Cinco de Mayo calls for Margaritas and this year I am serving up Strawberry flavored ones that include my favorite ingredient, yes you guessed it, Rosé! Super easy, I whipped it up right on my Cinco de Mayo Table {and will be sharing all the details in an upcoming post!}. In the meantime find my delish recipe below as well as a list of some of my favorite new bowls, placemats, and more that I will be using this Cinco de Mayo!
Strawberry Rosé Margarita {inspired by this recipe on epicurious.com}: makes 4 margaritas
- 16 strawberries, hulled, sliced
- 4 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1 cup AVION tequila blanco
- fresh lemon juice from 1 whole lemon
- 6 Tablespoons of Rosé – but I use it more like a topper!
Instructions: Muddle strawberries and brown sugar until lightly crushed. Add tequila, lemon juice, rosé, and ice. Cover and shake or mix hard for 30 seconds. Pour drink over ice {do not strain}. Add more Rosé to taste as well as a few sliced strawberries!

And for what I am loving for Cinco de Mayo: fringe and ikat placemats {like these and these – the ones in this post are Homegoods!}, gold-rimmed glasses for margaritas {mine are these}, aztec bowls {like these} for guac and salsa, pastel baskets for displaying lemons and lines {here}, an assortment of white ceramic vases to display wild flowers {mine are from West Elm}. Cheers!
