As I shared in Brooks’s nursery tour, we have loved his nursery but we were ready to upgrade to a toddler room. I was so fortunate to have the opportunity to partner with RH Baby & Child for the transformation, and thus far the experience has been incredible. I knew I wanted to work with their design team to update the room because I am so busy between my blog, the kids, and hosting events, that I really didn’t have the time {or energy} to make it fabulous. And from the moment they showed up to my home for the In-Home Consultation {which is part of the design service when you are working on one room or more}, I knew I was in good hands.

We had talked about what I wanted in the room, color story, and functionality. We flipped through catalogues and highlighted things I loved or didn’t love. So next up was the In-Store Presentation. I headed to the gorgeous Restoration Hardware Baby & Child Store in Palm Beach where I sat down for a meeting with my designers and a power point presentation. The end result blew me away.

First of all, Brooks is getting the Cabin Bed which I am pretty sure is the cutest thing I have ever seen. As for functionality, I told them that Brooks loves when we read to him, especially before bed. Right now he has very little storage space for books with one little leaning bookshelf, so they chose two large Laguna Bookcases for either side of his bed and a cozy new swivel glider for us to curl up in. Another one of Brooks’s favorite things todo in his room is crafts or drawing, so they chose a Cafe Round Play Table and Vintage Steel Play Chairs {can we talk about how cool they are!!}. As for lighting, I had fallen in love with the rope aspect of the Rope Orb Pendant when flipping through the catalogues, so they were sure to include that. Oh, and I wanted something simple for the bedding plus I love that they have so many great organic choices, so they recommended the Mali Print Ultra-Fine Organic Cotton Lines Bedding Collection. These photos highlight some of the selections, and some of my favorite pieces going into the final product!

I am seriously squealing excitement for our install day!! I know Brooks is just going to LOVE IT!! Can’t wait to share the final step, INSTALL DAY! Stay tuned.
