A Look at our New Patio Furniture

Our patio furniture has begun to arrive and we could not be happier!! Our covered patio checks all the boxes – so chic, so functional, and so comfortable!

I went back and forth a great deal on which outdoor sofas to choose. Originally since our house had a lot of black and white (especially the exterior), I thought I should do the same color story in the outdoor furniture and immediately fell in love with the Frontgate Calhoun Set in Aluminum (so stunning and egdy, right?!). But right before I put the order through, I had a last minute change of heart and thought maybe I should stick with something more neutral (remember my last patio was white, white, white?!)… so maybe going to the complete opposite would be too drastic. So I decided that a light colored wood may be a better fit over aluminum (especially when it came to swapping for colored accents – like you know I do seasonally). So next thing I knew I was head over heels for the St Kitts Collection in Weathered Teak; and once the collection arrived I knew I had made the perfect decision.

It also occurred to me when the furniture arrived that I have mostly ordered fabric based outdoor furniture in the past and never wood. And WOW, this furniture set has the BEST quality outdoor wood I have seen to date (and you know I have updated my patios PLENTY over the years). This wood color is gorgeous, and the thickness and weight of it is next level. You should have seen me opening the boxes!! I was squealing with excitement!!

So what did I get? Featured here is one St Kitts Sofa in Weathered Teak with Rumor Snow cushions and two St Kitts Love Seats.

The Poolside Accessories

For our side tables and coffee table, I actually re-used the tables from our last house, the Frontgate Ensoleille Tables (see them at our last house here). I have never seen such beautiful outdoor tables; unique with the beautiful ridged detailing and 100% Stonecast, these tables could be beautiful indoor or outdoor.

And then for the finishing touch – the Resort Stipe Pillows!! These pillows tie the whole look together (my black and white theme coming to life!!) and are crafted of 100% Sunbrella® solution-dyed, all-weather fabric. I have owned these pillows in the past and they do great outdoor covered and uncovered and highly recommend!!

Dining & Additional Seating

We love to eat outside as much as we do inside and I loved the looks and functionality of the Isola Dining Set in Weathered Finish. The open weave chairs are very comfortable and incredibly weather proof (and wipeable – so you can easily wipe up messes!!). Best of all, the table is extendable so fully expanded it can seat 8 people. Frontgate sells additional chairs here.

On the Frontgate website you can purchase the St Kitts Collection in sets or individually. So over closer to the pool I loved the idea of a few comfy seats for parents of little ones who like to be closer to the action. I placed two St Kitts Lounge Chairs with a small Ensoleille Table in between. The chair also comes in a swivel option (link here). Coming soon I will share the uncovered portion of the patio with our fabulous umbrellas and chaise lounge chairs for tanning. I cannot wait!! Be sure to check back in on the progress!!
