I truly love my Instagram because it’s a way for you guys to see what I am working on, what flowers I am loving, what home decor projects I have going on, and what playful moments are happening at home in between it all. Lately I have really been trying to make my Instagram super bright with this chic meets girly meets cheerful vibe {am I doing a good job?!}. From gorgeous pink roses I pick up in the Flower District, to the pretty Spring blooms popping up everywhere I turn in the city, to the pink cocktails and rosé that I just can’t get enough of, it’s been incredibly easy to keep this vibe going… ah, the perks of Spring. So I wanted to pull together a grouping of my latest and favorite pictures and tell you a little bit why I love them so much…
Most exciting of all… this FH Spring tabletop was just featured on Style Me Pretty {here} – yippee! So of course I couldn’t wait to show it off again on my Instagram. This picture is my ideal night in a nutshell; wine, cheese, ranunculus, and macarons, enough said.
People loved this DIY vase idea, as do I! I love my Diptyque candles so much I hate throwing them away after I finish burning them, so instead I clean them well and use them as little vases for roses on my bedside table!
I have been obsessed with Martha Stewart for as long as I can remember and her tabletop displays at the New York Table Top Show at Forty One Madison did not disappoint! She really doesn’t miss a detail… I am always in awe and taking notes!
The Mint Julep recipe collaboration with Hungry Girl Por Vida {find the recipe on my blog here} was perfect timing for the Kentucky Derby and don’t tell anyone that we didn’t even plan it that way! The garnish on this cocktail is seriously picture-perfect!
When I say the Spring blooms in New York City are out of control, I am dead serious! Everywhere I turn is more gorgeous than the next. This view of Rockefeller Center was truly a stunner, so for those of you who are shopping at Saks, make sure to take a peek across the street!
In prepping for my move my charge card is getting a serious workout. The first shopping list I have put together thus far has been for my office {see the post here} and I am excited to continue to sharing each room as I plan it … keep you posted!!
I think the thing I will miss the most about New York is living 2 blocks from the Flower District. Insanely gorgeous flowers at reasonable prices any day of the week… Does anyone know if this exists in Nashville?!
And lastly, the first true taste of summer took place as I previewed the new Havaianas collection at the Dream Hotel PHD Rooftop in the Meatpacking District. They served fresh coconut water in actual coconuts and had every sandal a girl could dream of {shop these striped ones here}. AND they even had ones for Reese and Brooks which are to dieeee {these and these}!! I just need a bright pedicure and layer of tan towel and I will be ready to hit the beach!
Talk about ‘Pretty in Pink’… Hope you will stay in touch with my Insta as these bright adventures continue into the summer!
