Outdoor Dining this Spring

When I think of a simply elegant outdoor tablescape, this display is exactly what comes to mind. Mixing neutrals with pops of blue, accents of golds, and just a bit of texture! I can see myself entertaining with this display well into the summer.

Starting with the place settings… I am in love with the texture of the Kim Seybert Jackson Placemats. They almost resemble sea shells with just a hint of gold! And then topped off with Kim Seybert Pom Pom Napkins that have amazing bright tassels in neon green and blue… I am obsessed! I paired these back to white Baroque dinner plates from World Market {which I actually use as everyday dinner plates in the Spring} and gold flatware from West Elm.

Then I am in love with these over-sized ginger jars {similar} packed with lush white, green, and blue blooms. Blue Hydrangeas, White Calla Lillys, White Tulips, and Bupleurum are a few of the flowers I chose… and because they are a bit wild, it doesn’t take too much arranging to make them look pretty… the messier the better! The key was to only have a few pops of blue.

Because I chose my gold stemware, I once again used my Olivia & Oliver glassware for water and white wine. Of course this lunch is catered to adults or I would have chosen something acrylic for outdoor!

For this party I used my buffet table behind my dining table for added decor and served my food on the coffee table where the candles are in the above photo {I will share what I served in my next blog post}. I found gorgeous aqua blue ceramic lanterns at HomeGoods, so I scoured online and found a bunch of similar options in white and aqua for you to shop below!

I look forward to sharing more details on what I served later this week, but I hope you have fun pinning these beautiful ideas for you next outdoor dinner party! Be sure to check back in!
