The Blogger Holiday Pajama Party
This winter I hosted yet another Blogger event and this time the theme was a Holiday Pajama Party! I teamed up with fellow bloggers Tinsel Dot who made the ‘activity’ of the evening a gift wrapping tutorial (which was something we could all use as we prepared for the holiday season). The menu included a mix of bubbly and wines and we feasted on over-the-top cheese boards. To complete the evening we did a gift swap of our freshly wrapped gift boxes (I partnered with brands to create gift boxes for each of our guests, so they were in for a treat when they opened their surprise gifts!). It was such a fun night… read on for all the details!
Welcome Cocktails
Guests were welcomed to the party with a glass of Le Grand Courtage in adorable Packed Party Jingle Mingle cups! For all the details on my home decorated for the Holidays, be sure to check out my Holiday Home Tour! (My pajamas are Hanna Anderson.)
The Holiday Spread
I set out the party food in my family room on my coffee tables. To make it extra festive I used Grandin Road’s “Very Merry” Entertaining pieces to display my foods; how cute is the Christmas Tree tiered server?! Then Beauty and the Board created the most festive cheese boards for the party (even incorporating “F” and “H” stockings onto the board! For drinks we served 3 options: Le Grand Courtage for bubbly, TrΓ¨s Chic for RosΓ©, and Wine Society’s Premium Canned Wine for White Wine!
The Activity
The bloggers Tinsel Dot are super creative and crafty, so they lead a gift wrapping tutorial for our blogger attendees. Ahead of time I plotted with serval brands for gifts that the girls could wrap and then open. I placed each of the gifts in a simple white box so the girls wouldn’t have any idea what was inside! The Tinsel Dot gals brought festive wrapping paper, ribbon, bows and adorable ornaments for us to work with. They taught everyone a few new tricks and voila our gifts were ready for the swap!
The Swap & The Gifts
We headed over to my tree for our gift swap where we picked numbers from a hat to see who had to swap with who!
The girls were ecstatic as they opened a box of linen cocktail napkins from Kim Seybert, Charms from Chamilia, Gold Starburst necklaces from Jamie Nicole, and Ornaments from Nambe!
It was such a cute event! Wishing everyone a Happy Holidays… looking forward to more events in 2019!!
